TEFC Special Guest

Tom Bolton

House Concert June 22 2007

Tom Bolton’s finely-crafted and lyrical contemporary folk songs come out of many years of the journey into music. With a growing reputation as an engaging and energetic performer at folk clubs and acoustic music venues in Victoria and interstate, his sparse acoustic guitar and soaring vocals cover the spectrum of emotional light and shade, often accompanied by the deep velvet sounds of Richard Grace on double-bass.

His first album "Acoustic Caravan" was released in 2003 (reviewed at:
http://www.rambles.net/sensible_acarav03.html), and a new album "When I
Cross The River" is due in mid 2007.

Tom played at a TEFC house concert in Darwin as part of his "almost-national tour".

The "almost-national" tour of June and July '07 was a wonderful trip... a bunch of great venues, friendly people, excellent music and inspiring musicians! Many thanks to all who made it possible (and immensely enjoyable)!
