From time to time we have a special event.
This can be a concert or session when a visiting folkie is in town or it can just be the urge to pack up the swags and head to somewhere beautiful for a night or two in the bush with good company and fine music.
As "The National Folk Festival" in Canberra each Easter is a long way to go, the club occasionally has a "Not the National Festival". In April 2007 this was hosted by Rod Muller and Julia Cope in Kakadu. Click here for photographs.
In July 2007 we headed off down to Katherine to give Jayne & John Nankivell some house-warming music.
