The 38th Top Half Folk Festival
Queen's Birthday Weekend 6 – 9 June 2008

This year’s Top Half Folk Festival will be held 6th - 9th June at Mary River Park, near the Mary River Crossing on the Arnhem Highway, 100km east of Darwin and 32km west of Kakadu National Park. The park is under new management and many improvements have been made including additional cabins.
Cost for the cabins are: New luxury cabins: $200.00, refurbished cabins: $135.00 and the older cabins: $110.00. All cabins are air conditioned. Powered and non-powered camping sites are available.
The festival will be officially opened by Ted Egan and guest artists will be The Loaded Dog from Western Australia.
Weekend tickets:
Adults: $70.00
Concession (pensioners and unemployed): $50.00
Youth (12-17yrs or dependant high school student): $20.00
Family tickets: 1 youth free
A weekend ticket entitles the purchaser to 3 breakfasts, Friday night sausage sizzle (with more than one sausage), Saturday lunch and all events.
Other meals will be available for purchase at the park.
If you need to be picked up from the airport and transported to Mary River Park, please let us know.

A note from the President
Yes, the 2008 THFF will be held at Mary River Park Arnhem Highway Northern Territory between Friday 6th June to Monday 9th June 2008, which is the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
The Park is currently closed, but will be open for the festival, and is undergoing amazing renovations. Included in the upgrading is a group of new luxury cabins surrounding a second swimming pool - I can just see some extra sessions around that pool!
You will need to book cabins early, as all the cheaper cabins will go before June. Bookings can be made by phone (8978 8877) or by email at general@maryriverpark.com.au.
Jayne Nankivell, will be the main contact person for the festival, as both I (7 April - August) and Tony Suttor (27 March - end May) will be away for much of the time between now and the festival. Jayne can be contacted on 8971 1608 or nank.dek@bigpond.com.
